Separate the speedruns by class. So as a general overview you would see maybe the top 5 runs per class per dungeon. Would be top priority for me cause it levels the playing field.

I submitted a run but it didnt set my class, idk if that's my fault or its something done manually by the mods
1. It doesn't pick up the difficulty correctly every time. It would categorize Normal runs as Hard and vice verse. Even in back-to-back runs, the pals app sometimes gets the difficulties mixed up.
2. The Speedrun doesn't reset when you enter a dungeon. When I do back to back runs, I have to click refresh speedrun in the loading screen every time.
3. Sometimes the timer starts when I enter and sometimes it starts when I move. Its a little inconsistent.
4. Is it possible to auto-grab a players build when they're submitting a speedrun? It would be nice to have that data available so I can see which build generally has faster times.

Hey there, first of all, ty for testing the tool so much, really appreciate youre effort. 1.: its sometimes hard to determine but I will work on it, until then you can manually edit ur runs at your profile and change the difficulty mode manually afterwards. 2.: That is a good idea, there already exists a hot key setting where you can reset timer by hotkey, but we maybe want to wipe the timer after few seconds, maybe as toggleable option? 3.: I will look into that, didnt experience it yet myself but there might be a race conditon where it thinks the player tp inside the dg is already a movement (cause the pos changed), 4.: Yes it should be using the build you set at your profile, but I could add an override current build inside the companion, so you can use different builds per run and set it inside the companions speedrun tab.
Sometimes runs are seen as normal instead of hard e.g. Honeyzabeth (got a 1:40 but it shows normal)

Hey there, unfortunately the companion cant distinguish clearly at the Honeyzabeth Dg which mode it is, but you now have the possibility to edit your speedruns and toggle it to hardmode. Ty for the feedback <3
I think that show the items stats in the build section would be a good idea. Maybe you can calculate general stats too based on equipment.
Anyway thanks for this great project and keep it up!
The new Boss timer tracker from the dps meter (https://github.com/ramisotti13-eng/farever-minimap) is confirmed to be more accurate than using the dps meter. Might want to make this the required measure for actual kill times since everyone seems to be using the dps meter instead with inaccurate kill times. Link to the confirmation:

Thanks for the suggestion, and for caring about accurate kill times. That matters to us too. We're going to keep Farever Pals injection-free on principle. Tools that load a DLL into the game work great right now because Farever ships without anti-cheat, but the moment the devs add any detection, or simply decide they don't want in-process mods, everyone relying on one is exposed. We'd rather not build the platform on something that could break, or get people flagged, overnight. We did look at the injection route early on and passed on it for that exact reason. On accuracy: our in-app timer reads the boss's HP directly and tracks the fight from the first hit to the kill, so the times are very accurate. You're still free to time your runs however you like, including with any third-party tool. We just can't auto-trust a number that comes from outside the app, so those runs go through the normal manual route: hit Submit, enter your time, and attach a screenshot or video as proof. Same standard for everyone. Thanks for using Farever Pals.
Can somebody help me to get this work. I get teh overlay but it seems it wont read the games input. no DPS no entity no moving/rotating mini map ! Pls help
Farever Pal is strictly read-only: it never writes to the game, injects code, or automates input. It only reads memory and draws overlays, so it cannot modify or crash the game. That is no licence to cheat: exploiting bugs, manipulating run timers, splicing videos, or abusing the leaderboard will get you banned and excluded from the community. Keep it fair so the boards stay meaningful for everyone.
